Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - PICU RN - TravelNurse

We're looking for Pediatric Intensive Care Unit RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Little Rock, AR.
The right RN should have 1-2 years' recent acute care experience.

As a PICU RN, you'll provide critical care to pediatric patients as part of a broader medical team.
You will collaborate with physicians, specialists and the patients' families to ensure the best coordinated care for these special patients.
PICU Travel Nurses provide care to children and adolescents with a wide range of conditions, ranging from common childhood diseases to life-threatening illnesses.
As a PICU Travel Nurse, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:
Monitor patients' vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary.
Follow continuous cardiac and respiratory monitor readings, such as EKG tracings, O2 stats, CVP/arterial line waveforms, if applicable, and report any observed changes.
Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs (both central venous and arterial).
Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, such as ventilators.
Assist physician during examination, treatment and procedures, which can include life-saving situations.
Assist with the insertion or discontinuation of CV catheters, arterial lines, external ventricular drains, Foleys, epidural catheters and endotracheal tubes.
PICU Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
RNs should be able to easily lift 10-20 pounds of equipment at times.
PICU RNs may face hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
CVPICUCerts Rq:
BLS, ACLS, PALSExp REq:
2 years core CVICU, travel req.
Active AR or Compact license.
Urgent need for CVICU RN.
12hr 7p-7a Nights w/weekends as necessary 2 years' of core CVICU experience.
Prior travel required.
IVS to interview and NM to offer.
PALS/ACLS/BLS required Must have Covid documentation in submission.
MUST TEST NEGATIVE FOR NICOTINE.
HCP must be dependable and adhere to the schedule in which he/she is applying to.
If HCP has more than 3 call-off's/13 weeks this will be grounds for termination.
Floating required when necessary to other pediatric units.
Must have Epic charting experience.
Scheduling by manager or scheduler; no self-scheduling.
Holidays required, as needed.
Patient Population (Diagnoses):
Congenital and acquired heart disease in pediatric populations, adult congenital heart disease, heart failure, heart transplant, ventricular assist devices, post cardiac procedures, ECMO, CRRT Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support Congenital Heart Defects Corrective And Preventive Action (Capa) Electrocardiography Pediatric Advanced Life Support Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
